During this festive workshop, you will make your very own wreath using all natural foliage such as noble fir, holly, eucalyptus and more.
There will also be lots of things to use to decorate the wreaths, dried oranges, limes, or maybe you'd prefer colourful baubles, robins or a snowman.
There is lots of everything to choose from and it's all included in the price of €39.95.
It's a very relaxed evening, with mulled wine and mince pies to enjoy too.

Christmas Ceramics Workshop

Make your own set of 8 Ceramic Christmas Decorations in this fun, festive workshop.
During the workshop I will show you all the techniques needed and you will be able to use a range of cutters, stamps, textures, coloured slips, underglazes to create your decorations.
After the workshop is over I will twice fire and glaze your pieces and they will be ready for collection in 7-10 days, just in time to hang on your tree.
There will be mulled wine and mince pies on the evening , it will be the perfect start to your festive season.
Places are limited to 12 so early booking is advisable.

Christmas Table Centre Workshop
Monday 17th December at 7.30pm
During this workshop I will provide you with all the materials to make your very own Christmas Table Centrepiece.
The candles, along with the natural foliage, decorations and bling will all be available in abundance.
I will show you step by step how to make your arrangements.
There will also be mulled wine and mince pieces available on the evening to help you get into the Christmas spirit.

Window Box Demonstration

Are your window boxes and containers looking a little tired after the summer?
Would you like to brighten them up so that they will flower into the winter months?
I can help you to pick the perfect flowers that will bring you happiness when you see your window boxes and containers in the next few months.
I will be demonstrating how to make the perfect window boxes for your homes and explaining how to maintain them to keep them at their very best. I want to make this the easiest thing for you to do in your own house.
If you want to make up your own window boxes, then feel free to bring your boxes and I can help you pick out the perfect plants and assist you with the planting
Easter Egg Hunt
Easter Egg Hunt at Rockbarton Garden Centre, we'll have the Easter Bunny to help the children on their treasure hunt for chocolate. There will be arts & crafts, games along with facepainting to keep the children entertained. We'll have Happy Food at Home here with a selection of great food, so you can sit down and relax with a bite to eat, and enjoy the festive atmosphere. Tea/Coffee/Hot Chocolate and cake will also be available on the day, so don't delay and book your tickets today.. Adults go free.

Children's Gardening Classes

Would you like your children to learn about gardening in an interesting, creative and enjoyable environment.
Over 4 weeks the children will explore the seeds that can be sown now to bring us our late Spring/early summer crop of vegetables. This is a hands on course, with most of our time spent outside, so warm and protective clothing is important.

I will guide to discover the best flowers for that shady part of your garden that you're just not sure about what to plant, I'll give you planting combinations that work well together, along with succession planting, so that you will have flowers throughout the year and not just during June and July.
I will give you ideas for planting your pots outside your doors and patios, along with your hanging baskets and how to get the most out of them, so that they will flower for as long as possible.
