We had a very successful flowering arranging class here at Rockbarton Garden Centre last Thursday evening.. There was a wide selection of flowers to choose from on the night, including Pink & Cream Roses, Pink Gerbera, Chrysanthemums and Gypsophilia, or as it's more commonly known babys'-breath (presumably the child wan't suffering reflux at the time).
We used Pittosporum 'Silver Queen' for our foliage, it's an evergreen plant and great for use in flower arrangements throughout the year. We each had the same flowers to choose from, although we did vary slightly on our pot choices, some went for a basket, others a pink pot or a black ceramic pot. Even though our flower choices were similar, the arrangements are all unique and individual.
It was a really relaxing evening, sitting down chatting while making our arrangments. I really enjoyed the class and hope that those attended did too.
